I'm sorry to hear it... I know how hard it is to put events together, and how very disappointing it is when they aren't well-attended. :(

Consistent player-run events are an uphill battle (and I'm not talking about a bunny hill). Wish I had more time to support them.
Most people like us, or at least they like what we do. Regardless, we appreciate all our victims, and we hope that their encounter with us is a memorable one.

The majority of UOSA players don't read forums or join IRC.

I don't have enough time and players supporting me to be all over the shard advertising all week long, unfortunately. If there was a way for the staff to make periodic announcements throughout the day to let players know of upcoming player-run events, perhaps that would help.

As it is, you are right about a lot of the UOSA players not consistently (or even at all) reading the forums or being on IRC(especially with the irc server problems).

Since players do not have all day to spend in-game advertising and informing players about Player-Run Events and there is no in-game method to get the word out that is actually effective in practice, most recurring player-run events fail in the end. Its the same trend, over and over. Just search the forums. Wish it weren't so, but it is the nature of things. :(

That's too bad, and it must suck for you since you obviously put quite some effort and pixels into this :-(

I would have loved to join some of these events, but last time i checked, they started around 4 a.m. in my timezone. Which is a tad too late/early on a week night ;-)
