Bog of Desolation Restoration Fund

Post by Blaise »

Hail all Britannia and welcome to the beginning of the movement to restore the Bog of Desolation to its wild roots, devoid of the trappings of man.
I seek the aide of all Britannians who love these lands and wish to see nature restored, albeit in a quite dangerous place. We all know the wetland habitats are critical to the survival of native wildlife. As such, I wish to start a fund, with the support of all who may be so bold, to purchase and demolish as much housing as possible within the Bog of Desolation.

Although I am currently low on gold at the moment, I am prepared to start this off with a bit of fun and something mildly special.

The first person to come to me with an adequately valued home to demolish, will receive, from me, one Clothing Bless Deed, in exchange for your home. The proceeds from cashing in the deed of
the home will be put towards further acts of restoration.

Also, if you own a home and just wish to contribute to the cause by demolishing it yourself, please share a screenshot of the newly opened lands for all to enjoy.

I feel I have sufficient reputation to be the treasurer of such a fund, however, I would greatly appreciate a known and reputable player/broker stepping forward to handle such a noble task.

What say you Britannia? WHAT SAY YOU?!?!?!?!

(perhaps the wrong forum, but I felt it appropriate)

Many thanks to Grumpy for the sale of his finely located two story home. Whereas once it was a barrier to the main entry to the Bog of Desolation, now it remains but a memory of the citizens of these lands.

Hail Britannia!

Please, if you have a home in these swamps, or care to help me continue this effort in anyway, contact me via PM or IRC or just post in here.

Considering Grumpy was not interested in trading for the Clothing Bless Deed, my offer still stands open as stated originally.

Cheers,
Blaise

What have you done to that poor giant serpents. I thought the plan was to support the wildlife not destroy it. You are the MONSTERS!

I will trade my large brick there for a placed tower. =) Let me know if you're interested. I won't settle for less than that.

Thanks Chum. Have you taken a moment to go run around there yet? It's rather nice open space. I'm getting some ideas for large scale field events right in the swamp. Plenty of room to run around, no tree haxxors needed. :)

I applaud this noble movement of preservation. Since I hunt there on occasion, conservation is key to the Bog's survival.

Thank you Zyler. If you encounter any homeowner's in the area I'd appreciate you passing along word of this intent.
