Wild Bear Fall 2015 League Interest Poll
(Single Elimination - Challenger vs. Wild Bear Champion)
Rules:
Magic Items OK, Poisoning OK, Paralyze (including GT) OK, Mounts OK, Reflect OK, Looting Enemy Corpses OK, All Pots Allowed, Blue/Red League potential. Each opponent will be provided a rune to the specified duel starting locations. Recalling/Gating is prohibited. Outside interference that adheres with the above rules will not invalidate the results of these duels. Interference is discouraged; if someone interfering in the duel uses pre-tamed animals such as dragons the duel will not be valid so in this case recalling is OK. Any case like this will be thoroughly investigated and may result in certain parties being banned from all future events (but 5v2, 4v4, 3v1 whatever is not prohibited). Invis. items and hiding is strongly discouraged but not prohibited. Excessive running is discouraged; you may not enter into, teleport, or cross over any houses or structures (including bridges and roads -- so no towns). If you start on top of a structure then you must stay there on that structure. No runes will be given for inside or underneath structures. Only the two opponents will be provided runes. If you are asked to return an item in an invalidated duel by the judge you must return the item or you forfeit your match.
Examples of Duels in Deceit (can not exit the Dungeon)--
* Normal Matches *
Duel starts at Deceit, 2 friends show up for one opponent, 3v1 duel happens and 3 dump on one contestant and the other contestant wins.
Duel starts at Deceit and no friends show up, contestants end up Level 4 and one dies from a Lich Lord. The other contestant wins.
Duel starts at Deceit and no friends show up, contestants end up on Level 3 and one contestant dies from a random person in the dungeon who decides to attack that player. The other contestant wins.
* Disqualified Matches *
Duel starts at Deceit and both sides have friends show up, contestants run into Lich Lords and tamer is there with 5 dragons. Tamers dragons kill both contestants. Duel is not counted and neither contestant wins.
Duel starts at Deceit and both sides have friends show up. A 3v3 duel happens and one friend gates in dragons and brings 3 dragons. The dragons kill the opposing team. The opposing team wins the duel, and the other contestant is disqualified due to the use of the dragons.
Duel starts at Deceit, 2 friends show up for one opponent, 3v1 duel happens and one contestant recalls out. That contestant is disqualified and the other contestant wins.

I know somebody will ask so I'll answer now --
Bards dexxers, etc. are not prohibited. For example, in the case you end up in Destard dueling on a tamer/mage and happen to tame a dragon there (not pre-tamed) and said Dragon kills your opponent then you win the duel.

Entry & Prizes
There would be a 10k entry fee for this event.
The total prize pool will consist of all entry fees (no less than 100k, or 10 participants will be required for the event), any donated funds from event sponsors or coordinators, and a surfer trophy for the winner. The participants also get to keep all spoils of combat. Additional prizes may be provided but at this time I have nothing planned.

Due to interest, I'll bump the prize pool to a 100k donation from MoB, making the prize pool 200k.

I voted yes, so unfortunately the participant threshold has not been reached.
I will consider altering the event and running it in the future in a way that caters to more of the No votes. Your (the No votes) feedback would be appreciated.
