Moonglow ( 230 ) ----------------------------------- Magincia ( 308 )

The academy is a new magical institution that will open its doors in Britannia in the very near future. The goal is to broaden the understanding of magic and its applications. It also gives more experienced wizards, witches, and other magical folk the opportunity to display their skills. The academy is funded by two competing cities of magic: Moonglow and Magincia. Students either pledge themselves blue for Moonglow or red for Magincia. Completion of assignments and tasks rewards the student and his or her city points. The city with the most points at the conclusion of the semester wins the Britannian Wizard's Cup and a 1,000,000 Gold Prize divided among participants.

Prospective Students:
  • Apply for admission by replying, or when you participate in activities. This is not a guild and it does not require the creation of a new character.
  • When accepted, you will be assigned to either Moonglow or Magincia according to the needs for balancing the student body.

Alright, I have updated the original post with more official plans. I'll include more info as we progress with this. I'm going to be recruiting some initial students first. Keep in mind that you can join at any time, but if you apply too late (such as only at the last couple events) you will not take part in the spoils of victory should your city win.

I won't be the only one thinking this (but maybe the only one asking) is having magery/taming/alch as a dominant part of your temp a must? Fanx.

No, you may use multiple characters (Just make sure I know who you are for each event). I, for instance, do not have a tamer or scribe. I could still compete in magery, alchemy, and simple forum tasks though. Some players will be stronger than others, but everyone will have a chance to contribute for their team. I think you'll find that the biggest factor is being an active participant for each event.
