Reports of Orcs gathering around the Bank of Cove have only today reached Lord British's ears, as recent disturbing attacks by the Dark Mage council in Jhelom, Britain and Nujel'm have held the thrones attention.

Reports of a corrupt arm of the guards allowing these orcs to roam Cove unchecked, slaughtering it's citizens and visitors are only rumor, as Lord British can spare no one in his employ to travel to Cove at this time.

Our Lord has none the less issued a Proclamation of Caution* if traveling near Cove.

These are surely dire times in Britainnia, as the citizens of Cove are otherwise left to fend for themselves for now.

The Proclamation of Caution reads as follows:

Reports from Cove continue to indicate a focus by the Orcs on the Bank of Cove.

All this is still yet unverified; one source reports the bankers to have been slain, but the advisors to Lord British doubt this very much, as they are under the thrones special protection and cannot be harmed.

this is an interesting way to remove the bank, if that's what's happening.

Reports have arived that the Cove bankers are now being held captive in the Bloodrock Orc fort, which lies north of the Desert of Compassion!

Lord British, still focused on the troubles in Nujel'm is unable to send any forces to aid Cove at this time.

Lord British finally spared some Order Guards to attend to the Bloodrock Orc, however they were unable to reach the banker before he was slaughtered.

Lord British has now seized and ordered hanged the treacherous guards of Cove, but now until a proper replacement can be made Cove is unguarded, and the Orc still rule the town.

: good fights UOSA. That was some serious chaos. Big spawn kept you guys on toes, order guard spawn kept getting in the fort keeping us on toes. Was crazy fun. Chaotic from our point of view anyway.

It was great a great battle!

Good times we couldn't get the banker but it was still fun.

Lol this was my first event as an orc but it was great fun.

The Order Guard are completing the cleanup of Cove and a new townguard has been assigned.

The British Throne and the Mayor of Cove are presently engaged in negotiations with the Minters Guild for a new assignment of a Banker to the city, but the negotiations are not going well.

I'll have to hand it to OSI, one of the coolest things they did was those Orc Mask that made the orcs "friendly" to you for the roleplayers, and it blew up if you had any aggression with orcs.

The masks were a one night thing. After the event they were removed from game.

I seem to remember seeing them around for more than one day. Regardless, they were a really cool concept.
