So thats how it began.
A simple investigation to find out what all the commotion is about.
Turned out to be not so simple...
We gathered as ordered and left on our mission. Stopping at the entrance of this cave to take a head count.
We moved quickly through the caverns towards the deepest part of this place.
We came across an unsually high number of evil doers fairly quickly.
We were up against a large army and used the best tactics we had forming a wall nothing could penetrate.
It was quickyl penetrated and resulted in a retreat.. spartans we are not...
We tried again, with ebtter results
Many horses were lost early on this mission. We still had no idea what was going on.
We clear the area and take a head count... down many men and many horses.
We headed to the island where our scouts said was our goal. It was surrounded by elemntals bent on not letting us pass.
We destroyed them and began to make our way across the bridge. It must have been an evil mage family reunion.
They were aware of us and come full force. We needed to retreat again back off of the bridge.
We reorganized and made our way across the bridge. But somthing was wrong.. those mages had us in a trap.
A force of dark ogre lords appeared from nowhere and began crackin skulls.
This was a battle, all hands on deck!
We destroyed their plan but the mages escaped... we had to return to Dupre empty handed.
Our group counted heads one more time before heading back to civilization.
Then we all mourned our horses
Be ready Britannia, those mages seemed like they were upto somthing big!
Maybe Sir Dupre will need us again shortly.
