Patch 55 - August 25, 2008: Magery, Stealing

1000 casts at 90.4 resist inside my home. No gain. It may just be a hump, but that is one heck of a hump. I'll hold off on anymore casting for now. Perhaps something is wrong?

There's been no change to resist gains outside of town. 1000 FS regs does seem like an awful lot with no gain, but gains do tend to come in bunches too.

I just tested resist gains inside a house with a new character and was gaining fine and fast at low levels.

It took an additional 1200 silk and ash before I gained. However... I promptly gained .3 more shortly after. *smacks self*

I've never seen a gain take so long to come by; even though they usually come in groups. I just figured it must have been something to do with the changes.

Wait till you get to 96.5 resist, then you'll really think its slow.

The highest my resist has ever been on any character was 98.8 i believe. Usually I get so sick of though that im just throwing money at it, and I stop around 95

Btw, about changes. No magic damage in town has been a lot of fun with my newbie dexxer. Trying to stir up all kinds of trouble . Can't wait to see some good townie battles.
