Patch 60 - September 17, 2008

The notes encompass the last 7 days, most items that were changed prior to this morning were listed in other forums threads to which they related.
Changes effective prior to this morning:
  • Last Man Standing and BagBall Games Added
  • Event Scheduler: More info in IRC for events
  • Event Scheduler: Speeds up next game open after game close
  • New lower number of participants level for second place trophies and gold award in team tournies
  • Fixed inaccuracy in the gold received when selling to vendors multiple items of the same type, but with different qualities.
  • Boats can't move if plank is Open
  • Boats will be blocked by mobiles in the water
  • Can now place boats in dungeons
  • Reduction to Escortable pay
  • Anyone can eat food from a locked down stack in a house (must be a stackable item)
These items were effective this morning:
  • Co Owners can toggle Monster Statuettes on and off
  • "I Honor Thee" can now be used to transfer karma to another player.
  • You can no longer enter the Goal area in Bag Ball games
  • Bug fix for multiple scoring in Bag Ball
  • More adjustments to magic item drops based on era information for % chance of enchantments.
  • Weapon/Clothing/Jewelry charges readjusted upwards, the change made previously that reduced them was found to be too extreme.
Changes effective tomorrow:
  • Modification to the formula that determines the amount that is stolen from a stack. It's now based entirely on your stealing skill and not the amount that's in the stack.
  • The Reactive Armor skill will be targetable.
  • Standardization of the ranges in which NPC's notice criminal actions, this will be 8 tiles.
  • NPC's will try and call guards whenever they see a criminal action take place, not just the first time.
  • Era Correction to Buff's and Debuff's, these formulas will be MagerySkill/10

i hope this stops that tard "Lamer", i still have no clue how he daggers people to death

The drop changes have significantly lowered the amount of gems and scrolls in locked dungeon chests. Most lvl 3 and 4s only have 3 gems per stack. Before stacks reached up to 20, in rare cases more, per stack of gems or scrolls.

I think this is an unintended consequence of the item drop reductions.

This was intentional, yet overlooked in the notes. Gems were way way too rich in the chests, I only recently was made aware of the how many were dropping in there

Lamer has too much time on his hands.

If it takes him 4 or 5 times dieing to kill an afk he will do it.

He gets 1 or 2 strokes in and dies,gets ressed and does it again.

While you have to admire the tenacity you have to wonder about the sanity there....
