  • Many issues with the pet guard command have been addressed.
    • Better messages for why something can't be guarded.
    • Bugs surrounding guarding yourself in town and leaving town; breaking the guard command are fixed. [Thanks Blackhaggie]
    • You will not be restricted from guarding yourself or your pets in town, however pets do not actively guard in town, the guard will be active though once you leave town.
  • There was an exploit/bug that prevented murderers from being susceptible to attack by chaotic pets (mostly fire-breathers); this has been fixed.
    • Murderers might now be aggressed unpredictably by their own pets.
    • This has been in the MOTD for a couple days now as a warning.
    • Please be careful. we will not be able to remedy unexpected stat loss suffered by players who are unaware of this change.
  • Explosion Spell and Explosion Potions damage is no longer nullified if the aggressor is deceased. [Thanks Sandro]
  • As per OSI, explosion potions only damage players which are at the same altitude or slightly above the explosion.
  • The criminal thrower of an explosion potion was not being held accountable for their crime due to a side effect an earlier patch; this has been fixed.
    [Thanks lemontree, Matron, Alex the Artist, Ulfrigg, Huzke, BenBrawl, etc] may your bank sitters rest in peace.
  • Aggression will no longer be cleared on resurrection.
    • This was originally implemented to prevent murder count exploits.
    • The correct implementation of the 5 minute rule on successive murder counts makes this inaccurate mechanic unnecessary.
  • The 7 day minimum suspension from the thieves guild for murder was only effective when a bounty was posted. This has been fixed; a thief is suspended from the guild for 7 days, or until his murder count is gone. [Thanks marmalade]
  • Event trophies check LOS and Reach in order to be turned. [thanks BlackFoot]
  • Food will be able to be consumed from two tiles away. [thanks nightshark]
  • Double clicking a guildstone that is not in a house by a non-guildmember will give menu with option to remove the stone.[Thanks Sandro]
  • Range/Reach check for beverage/pitcher pour and fill targets.
  • Sack of flour produces 15 dough, not 20; per Demo
  • "Deep water" has been completely revised, and may even be reachable from shore in some places.
    • Due to this, it is no longer permissible to fish AFK from shore.
  • Fix for unable to cast spell/use skill during or after an event. Reported in both Survival and Tournaments
  • Improvements to Help-Page system includes better detection of whether staff are available.
  • Cleaned up IRC !status command response a little.
  • Updated spellbook packets to support latest EA clients.
    Also in this patch (The majority of this patch) was code maintenance, increased server reliability and one major bug fix which crashed the shard a few times last year.
