Effective this morning:
  • Fixes bug in message packet that was causing clients to crash if the name of an item being locked down was too long. Thanks Cattie B
    • It is possible that other actions were causing the client crash as well, as the packet is used quite a bit, although there aren't many items with names long enough to trigger this.
  • Stable masters not responding properly to phrases fixed. [Thanks jefferyjay]
  • Claiming by name is now case insensitive: [Thanks LudKrud ]
  • Removed Daemon Bone armor from Efreet's [UO:R Item October 14, 2000]
  • Scavenger Hunt no longer yields a trophy.
  • Renamed MyRunUO to myUOSA in player messages
  • Katana speed changed back to 58: [Thread]
  • Shard save frequency has been changed from every half hour, to every hour.

This is less than we had slated for the next patch, but the fix to the client crash problem was urgent, so we published what we had ready this morning.

daemon bone armor is cheap as chips atm, might as well get some while it's still inexpensive

daemon bone is gotten from daemons (rare drop)

daemon bone is gotten from daemons (rare drop)

I'm quite positive Efreets where the only creature that dropped them. Won't drop it from now on, making the silver system the only way of getting it now apparently.

Just to confirm some other changes I noticed. Was there a change to Hidden Valley and a bug fix for mounts not listed in patch?

I noticed that there are now different decorations within the hidden valley structure- for example a metal jail-cell door separating the two rooms on the top level.
My rune was blocked!

such a great patch. katana SUCKED and now it's the boss weapon it once was. i was wondering why i hated kats and then i was like hmmm it's probably not accurate. it was staring me right in the face and i couldn't even see it.

Aye, there was some deco in hidden valley and elsewhere (ha, find it!); Deco would not be mentioned in patch notes though.

There was a bug fix to stables listed in the last patch, but if you're taking about the "ghost mount" bug report nothing has been done on that yet.
