No one buys gems, people only want to sell them. Thus the jewelers will not have gold to buy gems.

Yeah, I noticed this change last night at some point. I think after the shard "crash". All 8 jewelers weren't buying any gems at all, which means someone must have already gotten to them. My hunch is that their gold supply is in the hundreds... though I have no idea at what frequency they restock their gold supplies. But in any case, 5 diamonds gets you 600gp, which may well be enough to exhaust them.

Lockpicking just got significantly less profitable.

Ohh, i see. Im betting this went in last night after the crash.

I have been working carto for the past week. Last night after the crash i had a bag full of maps to sell and vendor all said "you have nothing i'd be interested in" until i bought enough of their crap so they had gold to buy back my maps...so they would respawn blanks for me to buy...

Pretty big Cartography ramifications here eh? I guess im lucky Im around 98.5 at this point?

How are ship deeds handled?

Provisioner, buy small ship, sell gems, sell ship deed? Or no?

what?

so now lockpicking and tressuare hunting is pointless, i used to have bags of junk i could then sell to vendor gem's lower end armours/weps clothing all these things made MIB's Map's and lockpicking a fun past time, now when iding those 200 items and only 1 is good its even more sole destroying as you just have to junk it all!

reg's i don't see the problem but when i was struggling for gold the best way to get a foothold is selling crafted bows clothing etc untill you get your first house!

This one does seem a bit puzzling doesnt it? Who buys items from bowcrafters? Or Carps? Or even smiths?

Seems like making gold as a new player will be significantly harder now?

Perhaps the game mechanic was always there but vendor gold starting amount was higher?

Like I said, last night after the crash Mapmakers had zero gold and wouldnt buy anything until i bought their junk maps to trash-barrel

If this works, you are a brilliant brilliant man and I want to have your babies.

It's a safe bet that any patch you see to this shard is going to be an era-accurate patch.

Does this affect house deed prices?

I have not been able to log in and test yet.
