S&S Minoc Halberd Exchange Program / Buying your old Halberd
viewtopic.php?p=282365#p282365
I'm extending this program for an indefinite period to all GM/Magic Weapons and Armor, with a handful of exceptions (no bows, xbows, heavy xbows, hatchets and pitchforks). I will also buy used GM armor/weapons which you do not want. So yes, I am also buying all junk GM/magic armor including leather. No skeleton armor or any clothes please...
If your weapon/armor just needs to be repaired then let me know and I'll repair it for free. If it's damaged to the point where repairing it doesn't make it "good as new" then I can smelt it for you in this program -- as that is why I made it for you all.
Here's how it works:
1. You collect a bag of magic armor/weapons. Halberd max = 10, Other items max = 50. The bag should be no less than 10 items and no more than 50 items.
2. You contact me on IRC or Forums via PM and setup a meeting time S&S Minoc. I'll meet you and collect the bag of items.
3. I'll tally (smelt) up the items quickly (should take 1-5 minutes max to smelt the items, 2-6 seconds an item) and give you either store credit or gold in hand. If you want store credit I will pay 8.333gp/ingot; if you want cash in hand I will pay 7gp/ingot.
I also will give 3gp/yard of leather store credit for leather, or 3gp/yard gold in hand.
An Example:
You give me 10 ringmail tunics, 10 ringmail legs in a bag with 20 items. I smelt the items and they yield 120 ingots.
You get 999.6gps in store credit, I graciously round up to 1k; you have 1k to spend on the vendors in Minoc which I'll pull off items up to that amount and hand to you whatever you want from the vendors here in Minoc. This money is also good for custom clothing orders, but please be patient as these can take some time to finish. If there is remaining money for ingot credits I divide it by 8.333 and them multiply it by 7 to give you your change in gold.
