I have an item called a heater shield and I've never heard of it before nor do I see it listed in rares. I am curious as to what special properties it might have and its value if known. :) Thank you!!

It increases armor rating by 10 and if you have shield fighting skill you have a 50% chance to dodge melee attacks. 'Magic' heater shields give more than 10 armor, do not spawn anymore, and should be added to this list.

I was wondering if someone could give me an appraisal of these items. I haven't played in a while and wanted to see what this stuff is worth.

Ive got two questions:

Do NPCs carry rares that are stealable?

I stole a lockpick where the item consists of three small lockpicks lying together in a pile. Is this lockpick a rare/semi-rare?

Any idea of what they're worth? Is it about 500gps-1k or more like about 10k?

Did you actually fish it up or did you "fish it up"?

If the latter, then it's an alt graph sapphire. They still spawn but I've seen people pay 5k for them.

As for the heater shields, they still do spawn, just not on monsters, chests, mibs or t-maps.
