I threw some LvL 2's in one of the two bags on accident while sorting and couldn't find them, that's the only reason I inserted this disclaimer.

This is not some lame attempt to increase interest or illicit a buying impulse based on misleading a would be customer.

I would really appreciate removing this comment. It can have adverse effects on my sale and I would never dream to do something like this to a fellow tradesmen.

Please don't use another poster's thread as a vehicle to post your own auctions. It's OK to point out criticisms of someone's post or prices, but I think we can all agree that it is unreasonable to simply try and utilize another poster's threads for selling your own goods; new threads don't cost anything to make, and can do just as well.

Of course, the response could simply be a criticism of the original post, which is not a problem, but I would advise choosing an example that doesn't contain carry the risk of being construed as an advertisement of your own.

I didn’t want to post in your thread and possibly ruin a sale. I’ve bought quite a few maps. Level 1’s usually go for 250-350, level 2 usually around 1200-1300, level 3’s are usually even money 3000, level 4’s and 5’s go for crazy amounts, sometimes 2-3 times the gold in the chest.

The reason is pretty simple. The spawn. A level 4 or 5 map typically has a great spawn and you easily make as much on the spawn as you do from the chest itself. Level 3’s it is actually worth killing the spawn. Level 1’s in particular have a horrible spawn. Most people who do these in bulk don’t even bother with the spawn, the just loot and go to the next one. They are essentially a nuisance and detract from the chests value.

Those level 1 chests usually have around 900 gold, some scrolls, some regs, and a few magic items. You typically only get one quality magic item out of every 3 or 4 chests. If someone pays you 900 gold, then they are essentially getting a few regs, and a low chance at a magic item for their time. The only people who would usually do that are people who just love doing chests. The people who love doing chests are going to make a treasure hunter and buy the level 4-5 maps. You’ve got a very small window essentially of new people who haven’t built their treasure hunter yet, but frequent the forum.
