That applies to every skill guardianknight, which is precisely why you should just ignore personal anecdote.

took me 6 months to GM tameing on Great Lakes and that was like 5 hours a night and more on weekends. Getting .1 every couple of hours was good progress and you had to know wtf you were doing to get that. Waaaaay to easy here.

As with most things taming related (and otherwise), a big problem here is simply the population. On a true shard there were thousands. So you were constantly competing for spawn (to tame and gain). Here you can just sit for hours taming the entire desert with little interruptions. Or you can run to destard and quickly get 5 dragons, uncontested.

This I think is the key issue. Population. We need more new blood and help them understand that we all control our own experience. Keep standing up for what's right and good things will follow.

Really, I've been told it is era accurate here (and it doesn't take 6 months to GM it here) I thought it only took 3 back then.
