I thought about saying that, but I wasn't 100% sure about it. I would have checked, but I'm too lazy to log in right now. :)

If you give newbie clothes to another char, will they still be blessed if they are either worn or kept in the main backpack?

Just fyi, you kinda mixed up terms, there. Newbied and Blessed are actually 2 different things, when it comes to items/clothing.

Newbied items will stay with you upon death and can't be stolen, unless you're red. If you're red, they act like regular items and will fall with your body on death and can be stolen.

Blessed items will stay with you upon death and can't be stolen, no matter what.

If your character is blue, they aren't any different. If your character is red, leave the newbied stuff at home for another character.

And, of course, as you said, they must be in the main backpack.

...and remember, newbied items (including house deeds) decay at an accelerated rate, specially in houses, so no leaving the deed on the floor while I log out this char, to log in another...chances are you are going to loose it.
