Why do Spellbooks act "Blessed" and not "Newbied"

For ideas on how to make Second Age a better shard. Can it get any better? Maybe.

I'm wondering why when a murderer dies they get to keep their spellbook?

I assume an obvious patch note is going to be thrown my way shortly...

It's actually a specialized function that has existed since the game was first launched. Spellbooks will always stay with your character, regardless of your murder status.
