Lumberjack Trainer

Post by Ashur »

Can't find a lumberjack npc trainer anywhere. I went to west brit and checked tinkers, carpenters, and bower. I'm fairly certain on OSI shards for this era there were 2 NPCs in the bower. One bower and one fletcher. The fletcher (arrow maker) would train lumberjacking. I currently only see the bower on t2a and the fletcher is missing.

I remember this because the fletcher would wander and I'd have to make him return before he would train.

EDIT: I checked in mIRC and none of the suggestions provided were correct. I think this is because the correct NPC (fletcher) is missing.

I've taken a brief look in-game and also at what the demo has to offer, and there actually isn't a fletcher type NPC, only a Bowyer. However, the carpenter looks as if they teach the skill; perhaps you can try there.

None of the carpenters in UOSA currently train Lumberjacking.

A note on the wiki indicates that only the Britain carpenter can teach lumberjacking, however this is not the case.

"Currently not all carpenter NPCs can train you in this skill. The carpenter in Britain is the only one verified as being able to thus far."

This is interesting. I'll try and speak with Anarcho about our code to see if we can't fix anything that doesn't allow a carpenter to generaly teach lumberjacking. For the moment, I imagine that the one carpenter in Britain will have to suffice.

I think you misunderstood. The one carpenter in Britain does NOT teach lumberjacking. That means there is no NPC lumberjack training available at all on T2A currently.

I was basing my response off of the information linked in this thread. Either way, I'll need to speak with Anarcho about this to see if we can't look at the code to fix it.

It seems the carpenter in Britain still does not train lumberjacking.

Four years later and there STILL is no NPC to train lumberjacking.
