Mount refresh patch...

For ideas on how to make Second Age a better shard. Can it get any better? Maybe.

I stumbled upon this yesterday and thought it may be of some relevance here:

I think this quote and the early goals and visions set by Derrick are worth taking into consideration at times.

I don't mean anything definitive by this, just that I thought the quote adds some value here and may have not seen by some players.

I have a macro for this, but I rarely even use it. I own nothing but frenzieds, and this is rarely an issue for me. I've just learned to live with the issue.

Haha Grofus.. I agree.

Also in my mind this just makes it fairer for us High Ping Bastards over in Europe. Rather than sending 3 commands to the server (each with their respective unpredictable lags), I can send 1. So everyone is on equal footing mount-refresh-wise.

I don't see a problem with it -- but then again I'm not the most "era accuracy or GTFO" kind of person either.

I think Derrick's highlight of "interface feature" and replication of the in-game chat feature that was actually available in era are also important highlights from that post.

Sure, I tried to quote all that I felt was relevant.

Here is UO Messenger to add some context on what weight that feature pulls for the inclusion of guild chat (I think it is a little weak):
