How does bless on yourself and clumsy on target increase hit chance? Thought these spells just change stats and hit chance was only determined by the two combatant's combat skills. Unless there's a stat and chance to hit/dodge formula I don't know about...

Sorry, I must have been thinking about my wrestling training macro. I'll edit the post in that regard.

Anyway, I did use bless while training archery just for speed increase.

This is crazy, I'm raising archery in my house using a bladespirit. I have been through roughly 6.5-7k arrows and my archery has only raised from ~30 -> 56.0

Any ideas why this is going up so slow? At 4gp an arrow this is not cheap.

Yeah, I raised archery on a few characters recently and noticed the BS trick is not working nearly as well. Given how fast weapon skills go up when using a paladin or other hired NPC, that might be your best bet with archery now too.

Well that sucks. I'll give a hired NPC a try. Thanks.

12k arrows... holy crap lol. I am working on an archer myself and blade spirits give very slow gains...I am only gaining like 5.0 points off of every 2k arrows. the best gains i get are from an order guard. Was archery nerfed or something?
