Hi All,

so I am trying to boost weapon skill : Macing.

I have tried several methods (Paladin, using a Character Created Crimial, etc)

everything seems to fall short of a solid way to GM.

Can someone please post a simple macro to gain weapon skill and tactics using two characters (one a criminal)

even with healing I keep struggling.

Run two characters, one fighting the paladin/fight , the other healing every 7 seconds...First paladin and then you. If you're using 1 character, with all of the finger slips and timing of healing yourself it will be easy to die.

If your skill is lower in tactics and mace fighting use a fighter from Jhelom pits. After about 60-70 use a paladin from Delucia. Make sure your dex is at 100 by using snooping and strength is 100 by using herding. Like Ill Gates said, have an alternate character healing both the paladin and your character you are macroing. Should be able to GM and fighting skill and tactics in under 24 hrs and you can raise anatomy at the same time by macroing it on the fighting character. Make sure to use a smith's hammer as your weapon, it is very fast and doesn't do a lot of damage. You can buy them from NPCs for very cheap in most towns.

I never used the second character for healing only.

I will try this method tonight. Also there seems to be a Pally for hire in Britian, I am guessing it is the same thing?

also can you send over a brief list of what commands you use on the paladin?

Your warrior should run

Exec Skill: Anatomy
Wait for Target
Absolute Target
Pause 10.00

Loop that

Healer:

Double click item (bandages)
wait for target
absolute target - paladin
pause 7.00

Double click item (bandages)
wait for target
absolute target - you
pause 7.00

Also, once you hire the paladin just give it the same commands you would an animal. "all follow me" to get it to where you will be macroing, and "all guard me" so you can attack it without going Grey in case you are in town. Additionally, you should put at least a plate mail chest on your character so that he doesn't accidentally die to the paladin.

For that I make a macro as such (I am adding the anatomy so you can do that and make sure he is protected)

Lift item by type platemail chest
pause 1.5 seconds
Drop item on paperdoll
pause 1.5 seconds
Lift item by type smith's hammer
pause 1.5 seconds
Drop item on paperdoll
pause 1.5 second
Use skill anatomy
wait for target
target paladin OR healer
pause 4.5 seconds
(loop macro)

You can just keep a couple extra platemail chests in your backpack (you can just buy ones from an NPC in town for cheap), as well as smith's hammers. You will go through more platemail chests than hammers, but I have found the chests helpful to prevent dying to a paladin while I am afk. And in case you are new to razor, you set "lift by type" in razor simply by right clicking it in the macro. Hope it goes well

As others have said, make use of a second account healing and the whole process gets a lot easier.

I always just use fighters hired from Jhelom fighting pit to GM mace/swords/fencing (mage for wrestling, order guard for archery). If you have a small house (or are at friended to one) you can do a trick to prevent the npc from attacking you while you hit it meaning you only have to heal one thing with your healer. If your can't find the method on the forums just go on IRC and ask

Swords - skinning knives
Fencing - dagger
Mace - butchers knife or wands.

The aforementioned method copied from another thread.

Step by step guide:

1. Hire a NPC, give it enough gold to smack on however long you want
2. Bring it home
3. Trap it using tables/crates/whatever so it is stuck in 1 tile
4. Have it guard you by saying "<name> guard me"
5. NPC should flag as grey (or green if you are in a guild), move 1 tile away and hide
6. While hidden, attack the NPC
7. Now you can move toward the NPC and hit it with your weapon of choice, the hired NPC won't hit back
