Events are free use (for now). You will need to bring your own pots/reagents/bandages/etc. but once in the event they will not be used up when casting spells, drinking potions, etc.

It's free use, so no losing loot. Mounts aren't allowed in the games so it will automatically dismount you at the start of the game. I'll upgrade windows on my next day off.
