Re: Carpentry Help!

Post by Kasper_Valentine »

Is it normal to get stuck on 46.0 shown (28.0 real) for ages while making cherry boxes and small crates...? I started on something like 22.0 real and 42.0 shown and it was going fine until it hit 46.0.

Just curious as I can change my macro in two skill points' time. Image

(EDIT: I should have been making medium crates and not smalls, crisis averted)

Followed this word for word...
Make small red boxes and medium crates for a bit until you reach about 48.0 shown.
Then start making Ballot box deeds until about 55, followed by wooden shields until 68.
Then get 40 tailoring and start making fishing poles until 74.
Then make Quarterstaves until 80.0
and finally Gnarled staves all the way to GM (this is the longest part)
I was briefly confused when I couldn't make fishing poles at 68.0, but a quick forum search revealed the actual figure required (68.4).

The following resources were consumed...

22-82: 60,146 boards
82-95: 9,000 boards
95-GM: 35,000 boards

It took about three and a half days of straight macroing to reach Grandmaster.

Thanks for the help !
