That's what makes people both come back to UO, then shortly quit thereafter.
I want an active server with as many people playing as possible, so I would ask anyone who finds out about UOSA and starts playing again to be ready to enter a real game where you can get knocked down a few pegs and have set backs.
It's easy to forget how it really was. However, achievements are worthless in a completely safe environment anyway and lead to boredom.
