How many Ingots will it take to gm Tinkering from 50?

Subject says it all. Ive been mining for about an hr and a half now and only have about 2500 ingots. I know thats not nearly enough, so how many will it take to gm tinkering from 50? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Tinkering from what I seen so far has been easy gains. Do you really have time to count each grain of sand that falls in the hour? I know its not the answer you wanted, just rest assured tinkering is the fastest crafting skill to gain. Make a miner and dump ingots (dont bother counting them) upon him as he macros making lockpicks and then heating stands after about 80-90 real skill.

If you make a tinker, you might as well load up the ingots anyway.

50-90 takes 5.5k ingots (lockpicks)
90-93 takes 2k ingots (lockpicks)
93-GM takes 6.2k ingots (heating stands)

This is very true and frustrating. That last bit takes forever
