Is Razor messed up from the new OSI patch?

Post by adraelden »

I am quitting prodo shards, wanna come here.
I know it's been posted before, and I TRIED to do everything that was suggested...
I'm getting the error:

problem with uo razor razor was unable to initialize. error code:no memcopy description: could not copy packet lengths and/or encryption information from the client. cause: your client version may not be compatible with this version of razor. you must update your client to at least version 4.0.0.

I went to Razor's site, and there are a couple posts stating that the patch messed up Razor's ability to connect.
Confirm/deny? Anyone else having issues?? I really want to join your community!

Thanks in advance!

I'd say easiest thing to do is use the download on our main page, and reinstall UO and razor with our pre patched client installer.

1) make sure youve got 4.0+ client version.. 5.0.8.3 is the recommended client here
2) make sure razor is configured properly .. mainly, patch encryption. if you were on an OSI server you would not of had that option turned on.

You can have more than one client installed. Use the EA client for EA and the UOSA for UOSA.

There was a Razor patch over the weekend. Did it fix this problem?

Is there anywhere I can see what the razor updates were? My G-Keys arent synching with the client anymore. Checked to see if it was the keyboard and it executes, the same with razor.
