Killing red brigands will make you loose karma

REPORTED ISSUE: Killed a couple of red brigands, and each time I got the message "You have lost a lot of karma."

ISSUE DETAILS: Lost karma, but didn't flag as a criminal. Title is Illustrious.

ENVIRONMENT DETAILS: Brigand camp in the valley in front of Wind's entrance.

STEPS TO RECREATE: Find a red brigand camp, and kill a brigand.

EXPECTED RESULTS: Should not loose karma (at least).

ADDITIONAL INFO: PMed IG, and Siren's Song showed up, so I proceded to demontrate by killing one of the brigands. Also PMed Braden on IRC about the issue.

This happened to me also today when killing a red brigand camp in T2A Lands.

Seemed fixed for me in another camp around Wind's entrance.

I haven't made any changes, but have looked into this, and I havent been able to reproduce it. I'm sorry I missed the original page on this, I would have liked to investigate this original camp.

This happened to me also today when killing a red brigand camp in T2A Lands.

I posted this about 10 minutes after it happened yesterday, roughly 1:45 pm Central Time, at a brigand camp in the far southern area of T2A.

I had provoked the other brigands on each other, looted the chest and recalled out before any more died and I got another hit.

This happened again, paged, and Illusion (Counselor) and Derrick responded. Apparently the issue has been noted, not all camps will make you loose karma, but red vendors and gypsy camps did. I assume a fix is in the works.

This has happened to me three times now. Twice at brigand camp that appears south of the crooked bridge between Trinsic and Britain (not the permanent camp, the one that appears and disappears) and once at the camp that appears and disappears to the west of the guard house just before the crooked bridge. Like others have said, I got the message about losing karma, but didn't turn gray or get flagged otherwise.
