I am using windows xp and:
the first time I try to login is gives me this prompt:
"the selected profile could not be loaded, using default instead."
then it gives me this prompt:
"the server address you entered could not be resolved"
every time after it gives me the same:
"the server address you entered could not be resolved"
I have pinged and there is open communication.
I have checked to make sure that all the info on the razor login is correct.
I have re-installed razor 3 times with the same result.
I am not working through a firewall.
Has anyone had this problem? If so, any advice is appreciated. Thanks
cannot login with razor
Re: cannot login with razor
Maybe some DNS problems ty this
64.34.215.106
Put that into server address and make sure port is set to 2593 ...
The first error is nothing and not causing any of your problems...
Also if that doesn't work, if you are running any kind of firewall or programs like this... turn it off (long enough to test).. just be cause you can ping it does not mean you can use port 2593 without some minor mod..

The "latest version" is in the middle of that screen, but underneath it is the old version.
Razor would open after this, but when I tried to load the default client (version 5.0.8.3.) it got hung up on the verifying screen after entering the password.
I then pointed razor to the "client_nonenc.exe" in the UO folder, which comes up as version 5.0.8.4, and it worked.
