Detect Hidden not working on dungeon chests to detect if they are trapped or not.

Does detect work on dungeon traps that aren't linked to chests, like floor & wall traps?
If not I am fairly certain it should..

I have never noticed if it worked on traps but never tried. Just on chests, (which I couldnt get to work)
