It would be really epic if you made enough boxes to GM detect in one try. Although that may be to many items for one tile. Be careful not to cause people to crash when they step into your house.

Just so you know, I've whittled it down to less than 5 minutes and that even includes a pause for the half-hourly save.

Thanks. I no longer remember how many trapped chests it is, but it's more than 600.

It was at the point where, when I stood at the tile next to all those chests, my client was crashing. I since put in the stone ovens to block line of sight and of course energy vortices (?)/blade spirits/telekinesis etc. There's no where in the house that you can stand that will cause you to crash, so fear not!

That being said, I think it's best not to push it any further.

Something I never thought about, a tip from Dante, is that you can hit gm, and if you're at the skill cap, train something else so that detect is lowered down to 51 ish again and train it up to gm all over again.

You'll hit 100 int in no time at all.

Great work Wonko!

Just in case anyone was wondering how long it takes for 30-GM, it's about 4-6 hours. It starts off slow but it really picks up at 50.1.

If any treasure hunters want to use this method just to get to 60, I'd suggest setting an "If sysmessage 60; break()" with your macro that way it stops without wasting the extra 40 points!

It's not really a waste though, if you're not at the cap, won't hurt anything, and you can always set it to go down. Anyway, I really appreciate your visit, and I hope you signed the guest book.

You folks can always show appreciation by helping me get rid of all those shipwreck bones on the vendor :) If you don't actually want the bones, leave 'em in the house!

Are all the traps GM tinker traps? If so, would it be possible to do the same to gain quickly up to 50.1 using weaker tinker traps?

All GM tinker and I'm not sure about using crappier chests. Also, I'm too lazy to experiment.

I used this house a couple of days ago, even in the high 90s every skill use gave five or six points of gain. Great set up.

Went from 50.1 to 62.9 in 20 seconds. Was only trying to 60.0

Thanks for keeping this place open.
