Yeah! Awesome event, Thanks to Blaise and the rest of the A^T crew!
And thanks to Dupre for providing event spawn and goodies!
I don't lie when I say this is the most fun thing I've ever done on this shard.

Re: Rescue Party: Brave The Gauntlet 6-2-2012 (UPDATED)
Hail all and many thanks for everyone's support and attendance. This was like a UO dream come true. I remember when I first had the idea and to see it really come to life and see all of the party (mostly ) working together to handle a seriously brutal spawn. I hope everyone enjoyed the loot and the good adventure, which was the real treasure.
Sturm's rescue is where I begin the pics that I have, please share more in this thread, or add to the Crossroads Tavern thread (if you wish to remain in character of course).
Quite a mess in this room, quickly cleaned up by this brave party of adventurers.
Here Napalm Death and King Haggard surprised the party quite well. I heard cries of confusion about these madmen attempting to foil the efforts of the brave!
They were not so easily dispatched, but clearly no match for this group. The nightmares were justly liberated from these swine!
The spawn varied and was often unexpected, many deaths there were, but resurrection was never a long wait.
Dupre is certainly Seeing to it that efforts to bring events to this shard for the enjoyment of others, are assisted quite well. As much as I intended it to be player only in the original inception, the collaboration made this truly an epic event. I have never had more fun effectively dropping half a million gold in items, gold and things.
I hope to run this again, but likely will not be so richly rewarding...unless we get initiative from the players to contribute to these things (HINT HINT AT THE PKs WITH HOUSES FULL OF LOOT BAGS----DONATE THAT)
Again, thanks to everyone for coming and making this truly the greatest UO shard ever.

As the adventure started, the party quickly moved down the gauntlet. It all seemed so easy, at first anyway.
More out of instincts than thought Valentine managed to wrangle one of the nightmares to do his bidding.
Attending various perils the party quickly became separated and Valentine found himself alone facing a mighty dragon.
As soon as the hellish beast was slain Valentine rushed to aid the party against an even mightier foe.
Victory was coming closer but the evil dungeon master had other plans.
Eventually, even the evil dungeon master fell and the party could finally rejoice.
To the victors go the spoils. Valentine not only got a hearty pile of gold and magic items, but also some exotic cloth in his favorite hues.
Not to mention my very first nightmare!!!!! Baaamchakawawow

The event was really awesome, I heard originally you wanted to do it without GM help, but I think that
it really enhanced the event, because Dupre was able to spawn things that you wouldn't have been able to.

I haven't seen a random group of heros work as a team in a long time. Wave after wave of minions were dispatched.
I feel maybe the dark side needs to step up its game.
Until next time!
