One thing I noticed. You have a target key and also meditate set as 'F'.

Thanks a lot for this post. My hotkeys were atrocious so I went with almost exactly what you posted. I made only slight changes to make it similar to what was already comfortable for me. I'm loving it so far.

To use a macro setup like this would i be setting up all macros through razor and having it "pass them to uo" ?

I don't do this because I prefer not randomly performing actions or casting spells while typing to someone. It can be dangerous, especially if in town if your "attack last combatant" is set to "w" like mine.

Question for you Halbu; have you trained a monkey to press keys for you, or do you possess freakishly long fingers?

One of these things is the only explanation for utilizing key combinations such as Alt + F10, and Alt + F11.

Yes, my previous post was made in a joking manner. At any rate, shift your left hand to the right-most alt key and hit those hotkeys. This is still a very awkward combination of keys to press in any quick manner imo.

Or as these hotkeys are generally spells which aren't exactly cast in the heat of battle, perhaps he just presses alt with his left hand, and presses the secondary keys with his right? Halbu, enlighten us.

I only use my left hand for hotkeys, my right hand always stays on my mouse. Ya those hotkeys are a bit far from healing/offensive spells but they don't need to be accessed so quickly and usually are casted before fights. Even though RA/protection is decent mid fight, I prefer to spend my precious mana elsewhere. Protection can be a good investment when up against people using vanqs though and dexers in general.

Just realized I haven't corrected something on my hotkey txt as long as I've had it lol, here's my current better hotkeys for debuffs and target recall rune.


"f6" to target recall rune, so it's next to recall itself and instead the mouse button small(only gamer mouses have these) can be used for something more pvp related.

change:
"space bar" to weaken
"v" to clumsy
"c" to feeblemind

With these hotkeys the debuffs are easier to access throughout the fight since they're closer to the offensive spells/hally yet they don't require pressing alt.

Change "mouse button small"(only gamer mouses have these) to something pvp related like explo pots or some type of jewelry.

Here's 95% of my hotkeys, the setup is geared towards pvp. Very few icons. 2 other pvpers on UOSA actually used my hotkeys before they left. Any hotkey with (razor) next to it indicates that it must be set in razor and not the UO client.
