Fall Festival, 2014 House Decor Contest

As a part of our Fall Festival, we will be be hosting a housing decoration contest. You will have until the end of the Fall Festival to enter the contest. Your entry must be posted in this thread! Please continue reading to learn more. You are also welcome to ask questions in this thread as well. At the end of the contest, we'll make a new post with a collection of all the entries to have a nice post that shows off all the creations for archival purposes.

Depending on how this goes, I would consider hosting additional decoration contests throughout the year, and not just houses!


Entry Information:
- You will have until Sunday, October 26th, at 10:00am EST to submit your entry.

- Your entry must be in the form of a screenshot on the forums. If possible, include a screenshot with your radar open, or coordinates to your house which will allow other players to see your house in-game.

- All entries need to be "verified" by UOSA Staff to ensure the house actually exists, on our shard, in the state that the submitted screenshot displays it.

- Your entry must be a small house. If you own multiple small houses, you can enter multiple times, but each player can only have one of their homes selected as a winning entry.

- Along with your picture should be a name or title for your entry. This may help set the mood or add additional context to your entry.


Judging:
Judges give each house a number rating, and those added up will be your house’s entire “score”. Judges will be looking for houses that depict a Fall theme. Some examples or ideas may include setting up a farmstand, a spooky house of horrors, or whatever else you can dream up, this is UO afterall!

Judges are non-UOSA players, but long term UO players who have been around long enough to see "good decor". Each judge is given a folder of images (house submissions) and rename each file with a number, representing their score.

The winner will be announced on Tuesday, October 28th.

Prizes:
The very best decorated house will receive an exclusive item for their home, a trophy, and a Fall-themed care package. The 2nd and 3rd place entries will receive a trophy, and a Fall-themed care package.
