Pumpkin Relay Races
Each day we'll run pumpkin relay races, where people must fumble through a course to deliver the most amount of pumpkins to their team's basket located at the top of a mountain.
How it Works
Players will line up to sign up for the relay race. A representative of Minoc will decide who is on which team. At the start of the match, the first person on each team will grab a pumpkin and run their way to the top of the mountain, and then run back down. Upon reaching the bottom, the next person on the team will grab a pumpkin and run up the mountain, and back down. Once everyone on the team has gone once, the first person will go again .. and so on. The whole match will last a total of 10 minutes. The teams with the most pumpkins at the end of each match will be deemed the winner.
Everyone on the winning team will receive a special item to commemorate their triumph.
One person on the losing team will receive a special item as well.

Largest Pig Contest
What's Fall without large piles of living bacon? On UOSA, we'll have a pig-pen available with large pigs that you'll be able to tame and put head to head against each other. The owner of the largest pig will receive a prize and the losing pigs will be sent to the smoker, literally.
How it Works
Every player will be required to tame their own "large pig" (0 taming skill required) at the Pig Pen Arena at the festival grounds right before the fight (to ensure no pig-training happens). Players will have their pigs fight each other to the death. After each match, all pigs are slaughtered, but the player who won the fight will move on to the next round.During official events, the Pig Pen Arena will be a war-region, anyone within it will yield orange to one another. Magic nor healing is not allowed, thus making this purely a game of luck. The rules are posted along the Pig Pen Arena.
Each official "largest pig contest" will have a special item available for the winner. This Pigout Award is a decor item and can be eaten, so be careful with how you handle your prize! Prizes are deposited into the winner's bank account.
=======================================
Player Marketplace
For the weekend's event, players will be able to rent a space in a temporarily marketplace within the festival grounds. What a great way to get exposure and sell those unwanted wares. Here's a link to the marketplace application.
=======================================
Small House Decorating Contest
This event won't take place on the festival grounds, but if you own a small house, start decorating! We decided going with a small house style would open this up to the most amount of people. We won't select winners until the end of the festival, so you will have until the morning of October 26th to submit your entry. Please see the rules and submissions thread.
=======================================
Bobbing for Apples
As suggested, there will more than likely be a “bobbing for apples” mini-game. If present, it will cost 5,000 gold (withdrawn from your bank) to play. The results of the game will vary. There will be a chance of getting a granny smith apple (special hue) from playing. There are also less desirable results from playing this game, but you'll have to find out what those are for yourself! This is a self-served mini-game, allowing you to do it whenever you'd like during festival hours.
=======================================
Combat in the Corn
We’ll be hosting a tournament at the Arena of Virtues each day. All characters are welcome to join and the restrictions are posted along the wall of the arena. Each sign has a rule listed that must be followed. This will be a 1v1 tournament with no template restrictions. 2v2s will be considered if there's enough interest to deem it possible.
The Sacrifice
Minoc is a town dedicated to the virtue of Sacrifice - the citizens work hard to provide a quality of living for their families and neighbors. The main population consists of miners, sawmill workers, artists, and tinkerers.
In honor of this, you are all invited to partake in a free for all battle, where any tactic necessary is encouraged. This will take place at the Arena of Virtue in the farmlands of Britain.
There are but 3 simple rules:
- No pets
- No leaving the arena (unless you’re dead)
- Only one player may survive and be crowned the champion!
Event Jail
Let this be a warning that Lord British and his guards will be present and plan to make security a priority. An event-jail will be setup and criminals may find themselves jumping through hoops to avoid or escape incarceration.
