The Guardian's Wrath (Darkness at the Isle of Deeds)

Post by Boomland Jenkins »

A journal has been floating around the World of Britannia by a prophet named Nate. It was first discovered on the last evening of Minoc's Fall Festival and has since been lost again. Many whom have read it have begun a great journey to join Nate at the Isle of Deeds to prepare for the inevitable.

It's no longer a matter of if, but a matter of when this evil force will launch an attack of unprecedented force onto this World.

It looks like old "Crazy Nate" was right. The black moongate's return can only mean that the Guardian once again will walk the lands of Britannia. This past Saturday, November 15th, many Britannians came out to fight off the evil horde that invaded.

The town officials at Serpent's Hold are on high alert, as the dungeon of Fire has a direct connection to their city's gates.

This will be the fourth coming of the Guardian, with each attempt more powerful than those prior. This is not to be taken lightly!

The Captain has had his suspicions about Crazy Nate and has been keeping an eye on his preachy activity. Is this landlubber really an ally of "The Guardian" and helping him conquer our lands? In order to slow down the progress, one of The Core's Smugglers was sent to dispatch Nate. A copy of his journal was shared with The Core and the Hashashins were dispatched to investigate the black gate and collect gold coins from all fallen landlubbers. The Guardian will be stopped! Yar!

The fire dungeon is under siege again, this time closer to the mountain exit to Serpent's Hold!

The Scholar at the Britain's Public Library have secured two journals from Nate the Prophet, who's rantings lately have dubbed him the nickname of "Crazy Nate". You can visit the library to preview these books or to make a copy for own collection.

It seems a crowd of Britannians have flocked to the Isle of Deeds to meet Nate. The town of Serpent's Hold is taking no chances and has increased their fortification as flames have already begun to spill out from the cave entrance to the dungeon of Fire.

Fear not the new imposter, "Crazy Nate" has been captured and is now being held captive at my home. He has returned invulnerable so I cannot kill him.

I would like a ransom for the return of him.

100 GOLD PIECES OR HE SHALL ROT IN MY HOUSE.

The Guards are Serpent’s Hold have reported an army of unprecedented force invading the town from the cave along the main harbor. Citizens of the town have taken up arms and fortified the docks, blocking the invaders from reaching the primary section of town, but the attack persists. Without the added protection from other Britannians, there’s no saying what will happen to Serpent’s Hold.

The army spewing from the dungeon of Fire appear to be that of the Guardian!

The town guards still hold a presence on the island, but have given up on certain areas, which has just invited even more death and murder to the island. Be careful out there!

The Guardian has taken up hold in one of the banquet halls on the northern side of the island and has powerful minions guarding the post. What evil could he be up to?

so at the event, which was great. I came across a black rock on the table below the bottom keg and I stuck it in my bank and now it has disappeared wondering why it disappeared. I've tried to contact boomland Jenkins and haven't got a response.

The event is still going on. There is much to learn about the blackrock(s) from today's event so far. However it will take the work of players to discover the knowledge.

The Great Wizard of Britain has determined that collecting enough blackrock will dispel the Black Moongate and should put a permanent block to the Guardian’s dark magic, reversing his magic’s effects on Britannia.

Image

In order to do this, we will need a distraction big enough to keep The Guardian and his minions occupied while the Mage’s guild can escort enough blackrock to the Black Moongate. This will take the work of every available Britannia, working together to achieve this goal. Keep slaying the hellspawn that has taken down Serpent's Hold!

Image

Lord British and Lord Blackthorn have even put their differences aside to combat the forces of the Guardian. Both Lords have dispatched their finest troops to maintain the southern island. The bank and citizens’ housing in this part of the island are still holding up.
