McPry's Return
Re: McPry's Return
Infact, you can't pick up anything.
Looks like someone died. They have six silver inside a bag with a hally and pots in it. Can't pick it up or loot it.
Everything in this room is locked down in a strange way.
There is 60k gold, it's locked down also. It's just bizarre
Oh, and there is absolutely no Captain.

Re: McPry's Return
I found this room as well, and spent a good time farming it to try and unlock its secrets. There was an interesting rune I found to an undisclosed T2A location that had a single pirate axe thrower next to a dock, but nothing in the vicinity that would show me the next move. Did get 6 silver from the treasure room, but there wasn't too much to do there. Time to do more research!

Re: McPry's Return
Some clarifications..
1. "Slime" found near the Lost Lands pirate tunnel is not related to this storyline/event. It's actually part of the map if you can believe that!
2. Switches and levers found in current Britannia dungeons (Shame for example) are not related to this story. Switches and levers found in event-specific locations or the wilderness may be related to this storyline.
3. Captain McPry's treasure room has been unlocked now that multiple people (and I have confirmed this) have discovered the lost lands entrance. Someone may have looted a rune to the next clue in the storyline, but for those who were not so lucky, the image below is your tip of the day!

Re: McPry's Return
I first tried my hand at blowing the boulders away, but to no avail. I then tried to reason with the vile wench guarding the ares, but she refused to give me any information! I assumed her identity after she was vanquished and took to the seas in desperation to try and find my answers.

Re: McPry's Return
I keep searching but to no avail! I have found the pirate territory, but there is little and less to do there, and searching of the pirates home island of Buccaneer's Den did me no good. I also searched the high seas of T2A but also came up empty, though a few beaches were too enticing not to sit a spell.

Re: McPry's Return
A clue for the upcoming weekend.
There's a pirate who's been left behind on an unexpected island, somewhere in the Lost Lands. A peasant of the swamps found a message along the coast of the Shallow Sea.

Re: McPry's Return
Couldn't get much info from Dom, so after a lot of time and effort I managed to drag Dom from Nujel'm over the seas to the lost lands and to the traitor who asked for him.
Oddly the traitor doesn't seem even remotely surprised to see Dom!?
Dom then harps on about not getting paid for building McPry's docks?
'Well who's paying me for my efforts', I asked him!!

is this an end uosa scenario pirate style?, I have no idea where to focus my attention - skull island, nujel'm, jhelom farms, every corner of the lost lands... struggling to piece all the bits together!
great event none the less!, and plenty of silver!!

Temple Island, there is a dock. There is a board with DtD on it. DtD stands for Dom the Digger.Sultan of Swing wrote:is this an end uosa scenario pirate style?, I have no idea where to focus my attention - skull island, nujel'm, jhelom farms, every corner of the lost lands... struggling to piece all the bits together!

Re: McPry's Return
Your efforts have been paying off. The pirate smuggling tunnel has been compromised, and the passage to the Lost Lands have been caved in by Papua's scouts.
The Crack'in Skull barracks is now empty as McPry's crew have sailed off to their next
McPry's crew are taking up hold at Jhelom Farms.
Their plans are unknown, but something is fowl about this whole thing!
As of now, you do not need to search the World for clues beyond Jhelom farms. There are clues in this post and past posts about what's to come, but currently the next steps are not active in the World. I will update the thread when the next stages go live. It would be wise to make sure you've gone through any past locations, posts, or clues regarding this storyline if you haven't already as they will be useful for advancement.
