Re: Barrage of Wizards
Well, sorry, I missed taking a screenshot of the 'Red' Brigant fight today, which was crazy.
But here is one screenshot from yesterday (#1), a fake Brigant, and (#2) today before things got really crazy.
(Thanks Boom)!

Re: Barrage of Wizards
There is currently "nothing to be done" with the event. You will find some pyromancers loitering around the Hedge Maze.
Storyline will progress later this week. The world outside of UOSA (it does exist!) is keeping me busier than expected this week.

Re: Barrage of Wizards
The Smuggling Tunnels
The battles over the past few weeks have left many citizens homeless, tired, and demanding answers! Both the city of Trinsic and the town of Ocllo have been pillaged by the beast tribes of Brigant and Lord Garg. All the while, the Pyromancer Cult’s power grows stronger.
In his search of knowledge, Garth Gooblenubin has joined forces with Watson, the Mage Lord from Moonglow. Together, they have discovered that the dark ash will harden into a stone form, called helenite. This stone can have devastating effects when it’s power is harnessed correctly.
The Pyromancer Cult is likely using the smuggling tunnels to move dark ash and other supplies into the lost lands. We cannot let this happen. Watson is looking for brave adventurers to shut down the tunnels. The entrance to the tunnels can be found on Skull Island, a small jungle island off of Buccaneer's Den.
-----
Main Adventure
Visit Watson in Britain for a new Dark Ash quest. Set sail for Skull Island and gain entrance to the smuggling tunnels. Battle the Pyromancers until they are no longer occupying the space. This will likely take a few days to occur.
Additional Adventures
What is the Pyromancer Cult up to?
Who is the Scoundrel?
What is helenite?
Event spawns drop standard loot along with a chance of Dark Ash, silver coins, or "Barrage of Wizard" surfer (2-silver) trophies.

Re: Barrage of Wizards
Discovery at Terra Sanctum
Across Britannia are Mystical Idols which must be located and destroyed in order to send the Pyromancer’s Cult into retreat. This must be done to shut down the tunnels and to advance the storyline.
Below are a few clues to help you in in your search.
- The first idol can be found in the town that hosted the a Fall Festival.
- The second idol can be found in the depths of this far away crypt.
- The third idol was lost at ship on it's way to Vesper from the Lost Lands. It was last seen near the Serpent’s Pillar.
- The fourth idol was taken in an overnight raid by orcs while it was on the way to Vesper.
- The final idol arrived safely in Vesper and is believed to be disguised as a relic in the museum of Vesper.
Great adventure awaits!
Locate the Idols and destroy them (double-clicking an idol will result in a sound effect and its disappearance). The destruction of each Idol will impact the Pyromancer threat.
-----
Main Adventure
Locate and destroy 5 Mystic Idols.
Additional Adventures
The Mystic may have additional information to help you succeed in your search and with future parts of this storyline. Don’t discredit the value of conversation!

Happy to report that Lord Heres Your Sign and I bum rushed the 5th idol in Vesper and shattered it with great excitement.

Codename: the Lich
Once again we find ourselves investigating the Rotten Tooth Tavern. This basement pub is the meeting place of evil.
An anonymous tip told us of a conversation they overheard earlier today.
-----
Main Adventure
Return to the Rotten Tooth Tavern in Vesper again. Talk to the drunks, again!
Additional Adventures
Arm yourself with silver! Wherever the Lich may go, an army of the undead is likely to follow.

Re: Barrage of Wizards
The Tavern had some drunkard spouting nonsense about a Lich and an army gathering nearby. I was about to brush them off for the drunkards they are, however I decided to do the prudent thing and investigate further.
What I found was the Lich Lord Juo'nar emcaped near Vesper. After dispatching his feeble guards, I decided to converse with him before taking his head (which afterwards proved difficult considering his present invulnerability).
After carelessly giving away the Mystics location, I hurried over to warm Mythran that his location had been compromised. Mythram had much to speak of with regards to both the Lich as well as the Warlock! Apparently the threat of both of them released upon Sosaria could spell the end of the world!

Re: Barrage of Wizards
Retired Scholars
The Mystic has expressed certain doom to Britannia with the return of the Warlock, and now, the Lich. This helenite stone is clearly part of their plan.
Despite our best efforts, the Pyromancer’s Cult has continued to evade authorities. They have even tricked countless unsuspecting explorers into doing their evil bidding. They always seem to be one step ahead.
Seek out information about the Lich and the Warlock by consulting with the retired scholars at the Lycaeum in Moonglow.
Main Adventure
Head off to Moonglow's Lycaeum. Find the retired scholars and ask them about the Lich and the Warlock. Use your knowledge of Britannia and their answers to progress the tale.
Additional Adventures
Stay vigilant! You never know where those Pyromancers may show up.
