When you download the recommended client, it comes with a patch. You'll have to run it after installing the game. ;)

i alread have a client i need to patch to play this server.

you have to open up your UO file and look for it there to manually patch 5.0.8.3 or whatever...not open like in run but open the folders in the directory find the patch then install it

its cool im in, but got old client as useing a laptop.
