Patch 107 - July 13,2009: Thieves Guild, Parry

Changes effective this morning:
  • Drake Drops lvl 3 treasure maps
  • Thief is suspended from the thieves guild for a minimum of seven days from last murder count, or until he has zero counts. (Info)
  • The stealing skill success rate is effected by the amount of armor the thief is wearing. (Info)
  • Corrections to parry including the addition of the protection spell bonus to shields. (Info)
Other Changes since July 1:
  • Released monsters are no longer non-aggressive to blues.
  • Grammar correction in Inscribe
  • Guards will reveal hidden criminals (or attempt to)
  • The "twitch" animation when priming an explosion potion is more correct.
  • Players can no longer mine in dungeons or event join areas.
  • Players can now redeem bounties even if the murderer has gone blue since the bounty was posted.
  • Players with Negative Karma can now redeem bounties
  • Bounties are forfeited if the bounty is not collected, and no new bounty is posted within two weeks.
  • You will no longer resurrect in a hued deathrobe if you were wearing one when you died.
  • Pigs (Boars) have a new era accurate behavior.
  • Players may buy from vendors in houses from which they have been banned.
  • Escorts will not move while waiting to be escorted.
  • My.UOSA now shows Long Term Murders, not Total kills

Did this patch address the ability to either craft south facing clock frames, or rotate east facing clock frames?

Does this only cover death robes? It should not effect dyed newbie robes no?

This is saying that if you are wearing anything (Deathrobe, dyed death robe, etc), when you resurrect what you were wearing goes to your bag and you are resurrected wearing a brand new grey death robe.

Ex. I wear a red robe. I die. I resurrect and I am wearing a grey robe, the red robe is in my bag. If I die 15 times, ill have 15 death robes in my bag.

Can one collect the bounties on their own characters?

At least change the angle so people can't see where my characters are. Fire/IPBan anyone who plays my characters too plz. KThxBai.

sweet patch derrick! :D if i understand this right there was a problem with shields and now its fixed?

It's currently possible to make Clocks facing in both directions, then I addressed this in IRC (or forums, can't remember), I thought you were talking about clocks, not the frames. I'll get the frames fixed so you can make both.

Thanks. There was a slight improvement to parry, related to the concurrent use of protection enchantments.
