Blackfoot, you actually managed to make that 7x7 look spacious! Awesome job. Love the dojo too!

Re: Celebrating house decor
it's these kind of stuff that takes me from "meh, it's just a safe place to macro and stach valuables. a 7x7 with a table barrier is more than enough for me." to "omigods me wants a piano! and maybe a chocolate fountain too!" =)

I'm a bit new to the house decor thing. Love it none the less though!
First is my Fish Taco's Armour Emporium chain of vendors. Then the one and only Casa Del Taco. And lastly my uuummm....special sanctuary.

7x7 is bad for macroing! Many macros are just not possible without opening yourself up to griefers.cokomantis wrote:it's these kind of stuff that takes me from "meh, it's just a safe place to macro and stach valuables. a 7x7 with a table barrier is more than enough for me." to "omigods me wants a piano! and maybe a chocolate fountain too!" =)
I've always sucked at decorating. My RL friend used to always deco our houses, but he isn't playing this time around. Will be looking for someone to deco my tower when I purchase it!
<green> grats pink and co. .... the 3 of you f---ing scrubs together can blow up a bard. IMPRESSIVE
Re: Celebrating house decor
I hate posting deco after Blackfoot, cause he is like the Chuck Norris of UO deco....but here goes:
My vendor, K-Mart (notice the awesome red/white sign)
L shape, level 1
L shape level 2
All the books in the mini-library have actual stuff in them too. Half are the ingame spawned ones, and half are stuff I stole from forums (ie Matron's Rules of UO, and some stuff from The Crossroads on forums)

Re: Celebrating house decor
There's some really nice decoration in this thread. A few of mine posted below. I try to go for some degree of realism in terms of decoration style and making the house suitable for one or more of my characters -
Baker cottage -
(I didn't notice the melon had dropped through the shelf until now)
Mushroom cottage -
Rose Cottage -
Jill's House -
The Meeting House -
The Workshop -
The Stables -
(The quarter staffs use 16 of the lockdowns leaving the rest of the building pretty bare)
Mining Shack -
The Spirituality Inn and Trading Post -
And the Outpost Jail (I had to pull this as I have no more house allowance ) -
Lastly, my brick house with an extension......
....and with a lean-to outhouse -
(The server crashed about two seconds after that last one, I think it was my fault )
Smalls are great for decorating, 25 lockdown limit aside, a whole house can be done in a couple of hours. I wouldn't like the daunting prospect of tackling a castle, and respect to those that have

Re: Celebrating house decor
I had two characters on the same screen when I was fine tuning my house placement. When character 'A' redeeded the house and replaced it character 'B' was presented with the view you see in the pic. Logging in and out sorted it. When it happened the second time the server crashed (I really don't know if it was coincidence) and it was reverted back to a previous state on restart.SJane3384 wrote:<pic>

It was accidental, but thanksSJane3384 wrote:The mushroom idea was pretty awesome, btw.

Re: Celebrating house decor
Jill Stihl: I love your homes. They look so "rustic", cozy... Don't know how to put it, but they're great.
