The BS Meter is going insane today with everything you post Matron.
This discussion is over, you are not worth talking to. People know who to trust.

Re: Brokers
Now FWERP, is an amazing broker, but be sure to check for his neon blessed items and stuff, cause you never know what guild he will be in next. There has already been a fake fwerp-related scam on the server.
The sad thing is, that I am not even joking about you tabius. This thread is about what brokers to use, and I am honest about my answer(s).

You do realize that tabius tried to scam you but halogen (a legit broker) caught on? Remember selling a tower near the mountains?lazarith wrote:tabius, wise, halogen, blackfoot, for sure are good

You got scammed Matron? OH NOES what an unjust world,
Can you prove your accusations about Tabius Matron? you have evidence via screen shots? you shoot off your mouth about Tabius not being trusting, I know for a fact you have used fake Tabius, and continually scam players, I prevented a cA scam last week, Matron was coaching a player of cA via a scam with Choas
http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic. ... 50#p171050
Secondly I pulled my IRC files from a little while ago (this is from about 4 months ago maybe longer) cA doesent talk to me as much anymore :< but I know you have used Fake Tabius's to scam.

[00:48] <MatrondeWinter> way

[00:49] <MatrondeWinter> tabius has nothing to do with it
[00:49] <MatrondeWinter> but i may have told someone that you will vouch for his honesty
[00:49] <MatrondeWinter> but you obv dont know its a fake tabius
01[00:50] <Wise> i know nothing
[00:51] <MatrondeWinter> great!
[00:51] <MatrondeWinter> You make an excelent business partner
Anyone from cA has a reputation you should be wary of, they scam, greif and use shard policy in a malicious manner in game to achive their enjoyment out of game (which is fine, all part of the T2A experience) but be VERY cautious when Dealing with any member of cA or much less just believing anything they have to say.

Re: Brokers
I've got a crazy idea that might have an oddly positive effect on all this.
Although I don't really know Matron, I'm pretty sure Matron has a good number of fully developed characters, and could easily make more if necessary.
Let's say for the sake of brainstorming that one Matron char was designated as a broker....a genuinely honest broker, which the shard is woefully short of.
All dealings with this one Matron char would be straight up and aboveboard, guild title could even be Honest Broker or some such. Matron would pledge that no shenanigans, no duplicate chars, nothing dishonest or dishonorable would take place when brokering was done with this char, and would obviously back it up with honesty and integrity in all transactions. Matron would pledge not to do anything along the lines of setting people up for later scams, thefts, or using the data received from transactions involving this char in any way to further less honorable goals...I'm pretty sure Matron could hold to this, in fact would probably find it an interesting roleplaying experience....totally compartmentalizing the scamming thieving Matron (which I would fully expect to continue to thrive) from the business, brokering Matron.
In this way, although obviously skepticism would initially be felt by many about all this, Matron would actually have a trusted business face to show the UOSA community, which could stretch in many directions besides business dealings....and over the months this Matron char would prove trustworthiness time and time again to the point where even Wise and Tabius might stand and applaud.....and with the absence of any follow-up scams or thefts touching on previous brokerings and other transactions, the proof would be in the pudding, and no one would be able to say that it's just a front for funny business....it would actually be what it seems to be....a way for Matron to be both who Matron is day to day, as well as having a highly lucrative, respected, totally honorable alter-ego.
I think the most important thing a broker needs is the ability to be just as honest when the camera isn't rolling as when it is....and I think Matron (and the rest of the shard) could benefit from deciding to do this....plus it might be fun for Matron to show the rest of the shard that Matron can play a very different role and play it well....maybe teach the other brokers a thing or two....one thing is for sure, I doubt Matron will fall for any scam attempts.
Might sound crazy....will surely provoke some comments.

HAHA matron got scammed. poetic justice - everybody gets theirs.MatronDeWinter wrote:I have never once brokered a house under your name. I am just looking out for the best interests of the people who play here. If you will scam me, and scam lazarith, who else will you scam? You scam people, and then you turn it around and say "Well that must have been a fake tabius you dealt with" in an attempt to cover yourself.
All I did was tell people that there is a huge risk dealing with you, which is true.

Re: Brokers
I'm not in the game much nowdays but i would like to remind people that i do check my forum PMS daily. So just because i'm not in irc doesn't mean i won't work with you.
I have had a couple complaints that i'm not in irc at a moments notice etc but let's be honest....you really shouldn't be in a hurry with your trades anyway and securing a broker (especially one that is free) should be a positive thing even if it does take an hour or so for him to get back to you.
Brokers i would trust personally : Halogen and Blackfoot
Brokers i hear good things about: Wise, Tabius, Magus-UoH-
People that pretend to be brokers in order to scam: Felix/Son

Re: Brokers
Halogen is an amazing broker... especially for doing it for free. He has many "scam detecting" methods including using the forum PM, almost like signing a contract.
Also, wise:
I don't scam I just house loot and roam the lands looking for things to do!
