I was 24 when I picked the UO box up from a shelf in Comp USA. I was going in there to buy game time for a game called "The Realm" UO was the same price and looked cool.... 13 years later...here I am..

Started in 97, I was 12 or 13, but had also played The Realm and Legends of Kesmai(CompuSERVE/AOL anyone) as well as Air Warrior by that point. I started in online games when I was around 10.

I was 19 and it was a LONG time ago. I'm now in my 30's and teaching my kids to play. :)

I played Air Warrior and Multiplayer Battletech Solaris on AOL, also The Realm which is still pay to play.

Lol @ The Realm.

I played it too. :(

I started UO on great lakes with some fellow Realm players back in t2a era.

And yeah, not only is realm still pay to play, it's even more expensive than it was back then, for around a third of the quality of play.

Haha i played Air Warrior and Battletech on aol, too. Must have been 15 years ago by now...Also the original NWN, that was on AOL too, yeah?

Aye, there were a lot of old AOL NWN players on The Realm.

LOL Just installed the UOSA Client, if you have it and have music enabled on login screen, that is music from The Realm lol.
