Got this today not sure what to make of it

There was an exception while attempting to load 'C:\Program Files\Ultima Online\cliloc.ENU':

I only have one user on this pc so i should be able to use any file and i have been play'n for like a week wonder what made this happen?

Check permissions on that file?

Tried, cant make any changes to it at all. weird stuff ....tried a reinstall but the pc shut its self off before i could open it then locks it out. i run nortan it has no record of changes made to the pc or that file..i hate vista

more info plz .. are you running in admin user account .. guessing you tried giving admin rights to program with little luck? any info helps .. firewall .. network type .. programs such as peer G. or other adware/malware/antiV. programs.. windows update (security patch etc) ..

also i think its pretty well accepted at this point that client 7x dosn't work . could you have repatched to osi?

Make a new file, called UO.REG

Edit it

Copy below and EDIT IT to match the location of your UO directory.

Double click it and select yes to add to registry

Viola! You no longer get the error.

Otherwise, reinstall to get the registry values...

It has happened to me a few times. I have not been able to pinpoint the cause.

I get the same error as zeppy but i dont know how to edit that file or make a new one. can you help me out here.
