anyone know why it shows me to have over 1000 skills points? even razor shows my char having skill points in skills i have locked or never used.

To provide an actual explanation, in the T2A era (and actually in all eras before the truly epic dumbing down that was AOS), many skills are affected by stats -- some to a huge degree.
Your "displayed" skill is your real skill plus stat modifiers. Spread across all the stat-affected skills, it adds up to a lot of apparent skill points.
Only some specific things rely on your "real" skill. The big one is your skill cap: it's 700 real skill points, not displayed. Another example is entrance to Wind -- you have to have 72 real magery, not 72 displayed magery.
Also, as you gain more real points in a certain skill, the impact of your stats on that skill begin to lessen. By the upper 90s, real and displayed skill will generally be identical, and when you hit 100, real and displayed are always identical -- you simply cannot hit 100 based on stat bonuses.
