razor issue

Post by animal »

Hi,

Trying to install t2a+razor but...

I am using XP

I download the installer, the one with UO and razor and the automap.

I run the installer and it asks what i want to install, i leave UO,automapper and razor ticked.

It installs and says it is done and click finish to close.

Razor and the automapper do not install despite me telling it to install them.

So I download Razor from http://www.uosecondage.com/downloads.aspx

I install Razor sucessfully.

I run it and allow it to find the default paths but when i click okay I get this error message

I get this error even after i restart Razor and manually define the pathways.

Any ideas?

try setting the paths explicitly in razor and not auto-detect

strange.. you shouldnt be having any problems with XP

I already tried that, I wrote it under the picture of the error message

Thanks for the suggestion though.

ah missed that i guess..

verify that the registry settings are correct.. run the registry editor (start->run->regedit) and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0 and at the very least the ExePath should be set to your installed folder.. this was all handled in the installer but it's the only thing i can think of at the moment.

Okay, I'm a noob, my bad.

My firewall for some reason went into stealth mode and stopped asking about permissions and was automatically blocking razor from interacting with other files.

It works now, I think.

/facepalm.
