UO Second Age

So, i've only been able to find one mare in the months that i've played. Tamed it. Great.

My question is, what makes them spawn? Can you "force" them to spawn by killing off spawn and driving the spawn? Are they a once a day spawn? Are they completely random on their own? I'm in the Navy and have little free time to actually play, so I guess I'm just wondering how/if I can tame me a nice long-haired mare...

ya, I think there can only be 1 up at any given spawn, so killing/taming it helps spawn more

but there isnt always one up correct?

If one is up, and you kill/tame it, it could take up to XX hours to spawn a new one at one of the locations I believe

Many seem to spawn underneath various shard Trammelites. The cA Department of Justice liberates these abused animals and places them in loving homes (for a small fee). If you need a mare, talk to us.
