Thanks, I just read the other thread (http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic. ... 1&start=45) and was about to make this.

Thanks, for posting this.

As it stands now blessed clothing just goes down to 0 durability, but doesn't actually break. I agree this is inaccurate. Blessed items should break and clothing bless deeds should be far cheaper/more common. The only "downside" is people wouldn't be able to wear the special hued masks anymore (realistically).

Sounds even more accurate when you put it that way.corr] wrote:As it stands now blessed clothing just goes down to 0 durability, but doesn't actually break. I agree this is inaccurate. Newbie tickets were also being given out to all new characters that were created back in the day. The clothing bless deed was the most common worth while item to snag from the list of rewards. EA finally stopped offering them sometime after UOR. Probably sometime around the implementation of the rewards system.

The entire thing needs to be corrected as a whole, not one piece at a time. If you have blessed items become breakable the deeds should be earned the same way etc
as of now on UOSA 'clothing bless deeds' are almost a completely different item they were on OSI with the one common attribute that they can only be used on clothing items.

What do you mean Blackfoot?
There were 'Bless Deeds' and 'Clothing Bless Deeds' back in the day.

probably he means that we on uosa can just bless clothing, not any item like it was on osi. nor do we hand out clothing bless deeds to every newbie character. thus, clothing bless deeds are much worth here.Faust wrote:What do you mean Blackfoot?

Bless Deeds have not been offered here.
The new player tickets were offered to 'young' player status accounts in August '99. The huge influx in clothing bless deeds started there. Before this addition they were worth a lot more for obvious reasons.

This thread is not about how Clothing Bless deeds should be earned. I brought up the fact that CBD's were super common in actual T2A when I first started playing here, but 5-6 people complained the thread into obscurity.
The items should break, it would be an easy change. There does not need to be a "change to the whole system" for this to go in. It has no effect on anything except for the fact that it would then become wise to take off these items before fighting.
I don't understand what blackfoot is talking about, he has said himself that..
There does not need to be a huge debate here. Blessed items were breakable in era, ergo, they should be breakable here.

I don't think there should be any special grandfathering of these items, there have been dozens of other changes decreasing the value of things that did not get a special "grandfather", why would this be any different. If a special case was made on pre-existing clothing bless deeds, then the shard has just introduced an(other) unique item that did not exist in T2A.BlackFoot (http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15116&hilit=CBD&start=30) wrote:I have turned in points for 3 or 4 CBDs now. I bought them all with trophy points I got for playing the game. So in reality I have received 3 or 4 CBDs for free. I would not feel slighted or ripped off in any way if the price of them changed. They could drop down to ten points and it wouldnt change the fact they cost me nothing.
