Action Delay Bug

Post by Blackbeard »

If you attempt to perform an action before 1s has passed, you obviously get the "You must wait a moment to perform another action." system message in response. You then have to wait another full 1s after you get this message to even attempt to perform that action again. Otherwise, it just loops constantly and you'll never perform the action.

I wasn't able to reproduce this, I tested using both a door, and a hair-dye. Clicking the door as fast as you can will result in the door opening and closing once per second.

I've only encountered this when mounting, dismounting, equipping and de-equipping a shield and, IIRC, drinking a potion after the shield.

Create open door macro in game(not Razor).

Spam the macro without being near door.

"you must wait to perform another action"
"you must wait to perform another action"
"you must wait to perform another action"
"you must wait to perform another action"
"you must wait to perform another action"
"you must wait to perform another action"
"you must wait to perform another action"

I'll get on posting an RPV if they show system messages. It's kind of an inconsistent bug.

Looking into this. Not sure aboout the arm/disarm, but it does appear that some items like instruments are assessing their own delay as well.

Thanks much.
