**RULES UPDATED**

In order to make the event clearer and more interesting, I am slightly changing how this works. The same basic goal remains: I want to put up a large amount of gold and encourage people to ANYTHING they want in an attempt to impress the judges and win the gold. The very point is to see what people come up with when there are no rules or guidance.

Official Rules

1. All entries must be in the form a forum post to the [cA] forums and must document something the contestant has done in game. You may document it however you wish: screenshots, RPVs, and anything else that would show what happened.

2. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges consisting of myself, Matron de Winter, Blackfoot, and the dreaded Judge Nevermore. Judges are asked to rate each entry on a scale from 0 to 100, with 0 being worst and 100 being best. They are not given any further instructions on what criteria to use in judging and may rate each entry however they see fit.

3. All entries must be properly posted by February 5th, 2011 at 11:59 PM EST.

4. I reserve the right to delay the deadline if fewer than 10 acceptable entries are made. (Unacceptable entries either violate rules or are simply posts such "I went to the mage shop and bought regs and here is proof. GLD PLS.")

If you would like to donate gold to the prize, please PM me. You will be given due credit here.

If you would like to make an entry, please post documentation of what you did on the [cA] forums. Make it clear in the title of your post that this is an entry for this contest.

Current Prize Gold Tally:

800,000 (chumbucket)
100,000 (Pacifico)
43,800 (nightshark)
60,000 (Cuchulainn)
20,000 (Chaos)

PLUS AN AS YET UNKNOWN PIECE OF TRAMMEL COURTESY OF THE KING OF TRAMMEL, BLACKFOOT!!!!

CURRENT TOTAL GOLD PRIZE: 1,023,800

FAQ:

Q: Can I donate items instead of gold?
A: Yes, so long as they are items of reasonably significant value, say, worth 20,000 gold.

Q: How will you decide who wins?
A: Whichever most appeals to me for whatever reason (interesting, funny, absurd, etc, etc, etc) wins.

Q: How do I document in game activities in a forum post?
A: There are many ways. Screenshots and RPVs are the two ways that come to mind.

Q: Will entries be judged purely on what happened in game, or also based on the forum post itself?
A: On both, but it is essential that the forum post document something that happened in game.

Q: I don't understand. What should I do?
A: The point of the contest is that you can do absolutely anything as long as it is in game and well documented on the forums. I'm not restricting what you can do because I want to see what people will come up with.

Q: Can I do something funny?
A: You can do anything, funny or not.

Q: Can I do something that helps the shard?
A: You can do anything, helpful or not.

Q: Can I grief Darkwing?
A: Sure. You can do anything. ANYTHING!

Q: Can I...
A: LISTEN UP. You can do anything whatsoever!

Perhaps a spectacular rematch would earn you the money. It's this month, not last month nerd.

You got it backwards: Donate more and people will be more inclined to make posts. Besides, there is a lot of time left so people aren't likely to post for another week or two at the soonest.

Can it be something UOSA RELATED In Real life? cause I have some pretty outrageous Ideas

encourage people to ANYTHING they want in an attempt to impress the judges and win the gold. The very point is to see what people come up with when there are no rules or guidance.
Official Rules
must document something the contestant has done in game.

Honestly, if I were you, I wouldn't bother. Also, the rules are quite clear.
