Not sure if it works here.

I tried it in my L Shape 1st floor/2nd floor and couldnt get it to work. (Not sure if it would since we used to do it on small tower steps) Then just for giggles I cast it about 10 times and kept running into it. I didnt resist it once with 95.8 resist. Is para field no resist check?

Maybe it's like the Paralyze spell, which a successful resist check cuts the duration of paralysis in half?
